Windows and doors presets

We've added a range of unique doors and window sound effects for you to perform with to create high quality sound effects. These feature interactions such as:

• Door slams
• Sliding doors
• Door and window knocks
• Clicks
• Locking sounds
• Window mechanisms

Use these presets for interior Foley, or get creative and use them as impacts, notification sounds and beyond. The sounds are 100% royalty-free, meaning you can apply them to any use case you can imagine.

Tip: click and hold on 'open' and 'close' buttons

The Automatic Garage Door preset, among others, has an infinitely-looping motor sound. With this, you can time your door opening and closing to perfection, as it will run for as long as you want it to.

Here's how to make the most of these presets:

1. Click 'open' or 'close' to start your chosen sound

2. Keep the click held down for as long as you need the door to be opening or closing

3. Release the button to complete the action

Tip: window presets with XY pads

Some of these presets are triggered with buttons, but still contain an XY pad. These pads are labelled 'gentle' and 'firm'. With these, you can set whether you want a hard or a soft knock (or somewhere in the middle) on the XY pad; the buttons on the preset will trigger a sound based on this firmness.

How to add the new sounds to your library

1. In Krotos Studio, click the library icon
2. Click the Download Icons
3. These sounds will be found in your library once completed!

How to update your version of Krotos Studio

1. Log into Krotos Studio
2. Click Hamburger Menu and go to settings
3. Click ‘Update’
4. The latest update will download
5. Install Update
