Technical Specification

You can use both versions of Krotos Studio as a standalone application (Windows and Mac) and asw a VST/AU/AAX plugin in your favourite DAW.

To use Krotos Studio in a Non-Linear Editor such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, you can use the standalone app and drag and drop your performances/recordings directly into the timeline.

In DaVinci Resolve, you can use Krotos Studio as a plugin directly in the Fairlight tab. We have thoroughly tested on the following hosts, and can guarantee full performance: Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Reaper.

The following hosts have been tested, but you may experience some issues: Logic Pro, Cubase, Nuendo, Studio One and DaVinci Resolve.

Any other DAWs or host software are not supported at this time. You may find that the plugin workds as expected, but igf you have issues, please contact support. We will expand full support for other hosts in due course.

A Mac Intel computer with a minimum of 2.4 GHz Intel Dual Core Processor, 4 GB of RAM and the operating system OS X 11 or later.
If you are on an operating system below macOS 11, the latest version available that is supported is Krotos Studio 1.8.0

‍Note: The above version (1.8.0) does NOT contain the edit mode that is available with a Krotos Studio Pro subscription. Please ensure that your operating system is updated to macOS 11 before starting your Krotos Studio Pro subscription
