Do Krotos products run Apple Silicon (M1-4)?
Most Krotos products now run natively on Apple Silicon (ARM / M1-4) Mac devices.
The plugins that are NOT currently compatible are:
– Concept
– Simple Concept
These plugins run on Apple Silicon Mac devices using Rosetta mode – follow the steps below:
- Close your DAW
- In Finder, open the Applications folder
- Right-click your DAW’s app icon
- Select Get Info from the popup menu
- In the General section, check the box at the bottom that says Open using Rosetta
- Open your DAW
Our team is considering adding this feature in a future update – balancing commercial and technical priorities can be a challenge for a team our size. Stay tuned!

Krotos products currently do not support OS X Big Sur and Apple Silicon (M1). We are actively working on support for these platforms, ETA 2021.
