Colour grading gets the hours. You will spend a long time finding the right stock, dialling in halation, getting grain to sit under the image rather than on top of it. Then the sound effects on that same timeline come from whichever library was closest to hand, and the whoosh you used last month gets used again.

What Krotos Studio Pro gives you
Krotos Studio is a sound effects instrument. You pick a preset, watch your footage, and perform the sound using the XY pads, so a footstep lands on the frame the foot lands on. Then you drag the result straight onto your Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve timeline. Every sound is royalty-free.
Pro is the version that matters once you are working on real jobs. It lets you import your own recordings, up to 6,000 sounds per preset. You can swap or remove sounds inside any existing preset, and build presets from scratch in Edit Mode. Pro also runs as a VST, AU or AAX plugin inside your DAW, alongside the standalone app.
What Dehancer gives you
Dehancer emulates the behaviour of real photographic and motion picture film. It ships with over 60 film profiles and 130+ camera log profiles, plus halation, bloom, grain and print film simulation. It runs as a plugin in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Baselight, Photoshop, Lightroom and Capture One, and as a standalone app on desktop and iOS.
