Terms and conditions

1. Eligibility

The Just Add Sound Challenge (“Contest”) is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
Employees of Krotos Studio, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not increase the chances of winning.

2. Sponsor

The Contest is sponsored by Krotos Ltd.

3. Agreement to Terms and Conditions

Participation in the Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

4. How to Enter

Entrants must create an original soundscape using Krotos Studio, share it publicly on Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, or Facebook, and include the hashtag #madewithkrotos in the post.
Entries must be submitted during the Contest Period.

5. Contest Period

The Contest begins on 05/11/2024 at 12:00 AM GMT and ends on 22/11/2024 at 11:59 PM GMT (“Contest Period”).
Entries submitted after the Contest Period will not be considered.

6. Selection of Winner

Entries will be judged by a panel from Krotos Ltd based on creativity, originality, and effective use of sound.
The winner will be selected and notified within 14 days after the Contest Period ends.
The potential winner will be contacted via direct message on the platform where the entry was submitted and must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Prize

The winner will receive a $2,000 prize.
The prize is non-transferable, and no substitutions will be offered.
All taxes, fees, and surcharges on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

8. Rights Granted by Entrant

By entering the Contest, entrants grant Krotos Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute their entry for promotional purposes in any media.
Entrants agree that Krotos Studio may use their name, likeness, and entry content in promotional materials without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9. Privacy

Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Krotos Studio Privacy Policy, available at https://www.krotosaudio.com/privacy-policy/

10. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Krotos Studio and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) participation in the Contest and/or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize.

12. Sponsor’s Rights

Krotos Studio reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest at its sole discretion, particularly if a virus, bug, or any other factor beyond its control corrupts the Contest’s fairness or integrity.
Krotos Studio reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Terms and Conditions or tampers with the entry process.

13. Social Media Platform Disclaimer

The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. By participating, entrants agree to a complete release of these platforms from any liability.

14. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Contest, entrants affirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
