Combat and Gore is a pack of fifteen performable presets for Krotos Studio Pro, covering weapons, melee impacts, gore textures and scene detail. It is live in the Library view for Krotos Studio Pro subscribers.
The pack is built for action, horror, fantasy and military work. It covers grounded combat and exaggerated cinematic brutality, so the same set works for a realistic takedown and for a stylised battle sequence.
What's included
Weapons and projectile combat
Bazooka, Bullet Passby, Harpoon Throw, Rail Gun, Pocket Knife, Archery Target, Catapult. Heavy weaponry through to close-quarters blades, plus projectile movement for passbys and throws.
Melee and physical combat
Mace Hit, Takedown. Weight and impact for hand-to-hand and blunt weapon work.
Gore and organic destruction
Acid Burn, Blood Pump, Gory Ooze, Gory Splat. Wet, visceral textures for horror and injury detail.
Environmental and scene detail
Vegetation, Water Fountain. Supporting layers to place the action somewhere real.
How the presets work
Every preset is performable in real time. You load one, hit record, and move the XY pads while the sound plays. The recording captures the performance, so you shape pacing, aggression and intensity by hand rather than building an editing chain to get there.
That control matters most in combat work, where a fight is a sequence of hits that each need slightly different weight. Play Mace Hit five times across a scuffle and you get five distinct impacts from one preset, so a fight reads as a fight rather than a repeated sample.
The presets are mixed and finished, so they drop into the timeline as they are.
