New Creatures and Animal Sounds effects to explore in Krotos Studio
There's a fresh set of creatures in Krotos Studio, and they're the most fun we've had making sounds in months! We got a trip to the zoo, the museum and more out of the recording process.
...but our sound designer Molly did lose a microphone trying to record some dragons.
A wide spread of creatures to explore
Load one up, click and drag on the XY pad, and the sounds are created by you in real time. It is far safer than trying to record wildlife yourself!
Epic Animal Sounds, from Domestic to Fantastic
The fantasy side is where it gets cool, with dragons you can make breathe fire, gorgons that hiss and spit, and much more. Big cats, wolves and bears are some of our less fantastical wildlife too. Then, there are also dogs and household animals and more for you to bring to oyur projects.
Even more immersive, wild environments
Add to this is a collection of environment beds, including of wind, water and forests to build your worlds around:
- Score a nature doc without trawling libraries for roars or jungles.
- Build a monster for a horror short out of a Gorgon and a slowed-down dog
- Give a mobile game a full cast of creatures in an afternoon
- Drop a dragon into a trailer and watch the room go quiet
. . . Or make daft animal noises at your desk, which is a perfectly good way to spend twenty minutes.
