January brings 15 new sound effects presets and the 1.9.1 update to Krotos Studio, introducing the new Quick FX feature. Check out the new additions in the video below.

Introducing Quick FX

Quick FX is the new feature in the latest Krotos Studio update. Combining a convolution reverb and a low pass filter, Quick FX features three modes of operation, enabling you to place your sound effects on an environment directly within Krotos Studio in seconds.

With 90 unique environments, from domestic and public places to experimental sound design textures, Quick FX will allow you to immerse your audience into your production with ease and realism. Learn more about Quick FX here.

How to Update Krotos Studio Through the Plugin

Launch Krotos Studio.
When prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to update to the new version.
If you don’t see the update notification, go to “Check For Updates” from the menu within the application.
Click “Download and Run the Installer”.
