Sound Designer Oğuzhan Akgül recreated a scene from Call of Duty Black Ops 6 using Krotos Studio.
The clip is an action sequence from an early mission in the Black Ops 6 campaign, featuring explorions, helicopters, bazookas, car chases and much more.
The high octane clip sounds as good as the original and Oguzhan made the sequence relying heavily on Krotos Studio Pro for the sound effects.

The biggest challenge was redesigning a fast-paced action sequence in a way that felt both cinematic and grounded. Working with material from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the scene involved an intense chase, helicopter fire, rocket launches, near-miss explosions, and a final crash, all of which had to be rebuilt from scratch.
Each sound needed to match the energy and timing of the visuals while maintaining a sense of realism and emotional weight.
One of the toughest aspects was building the atmosphere of a full-scale warzone through sound. Sound had to do the heavy lifting in immersing the viewer and driving the narrative forward.
What made this process even more exciting was aiming to achieve that level of depth and intensity almost entirely with Krotos Studio and discovering just how powerful and flexible the tool could be throughout the redesign.
Krotos Studio played a central role in bringing this scene to life. Nearly 90% of the sounds were designed directly within Krotos, including everything from gunshots and helicopter gunfire to rocket launches, vehicle movement, and environmental impacts.
The ability to build complex layers quickly, tweak performance nuances on the fly, and audition different versions in real-time gave me the flexibility to match the pace of the visuals without breaking creative flow.
It felt like I was performing the sound design rather than just editing, reacting to the scene in real time and shaping each sound to match its energy and emotion.
Designing the helicopter missile strike and the rocket launcher sequences was incredibly satisfying. The timing, the tension, and the physicality of those moments gave me room to explore how sound can build suspense and then release it with impact.
Also, sculpting the explosion that hits right near the car, close enough to feel dangerous but not fatal, was a delicate balance that I really enjoyed nailing.
I also enjoyed working on the sounds surrounding the launcher, like the handling, zoom, and lock-on, along with the helicopter's flare response, which added extra texture and realism to the scene.
What stood out most was how quickly I could achieve a polished cinematic feel using Krotos Studio alone. Even in a scene packed with high-energy moments, I never felt bottlenecked creatively.
The software not only saved me time, it opened up new ways to approach performance-driven sound design. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone aiming to create emotionally engaging, action-heavy soundscapes.
If you're working under pressure and still want to feel in control, creatively free, and keep your workflow effortless, Krotos Studio makes that possible.
