Though grounded more within reality than the other nominees, The Bear has a gritty authenticity to its entire production that is reflected in the sound design of its Chicago setting. The only thing more appetising than the food b-roll in this show is the crisp sound of vegetable preparation and sizzling meats. Delicious!
